As the first exhibition in a new series titled Great Collections of the World, the Art Gallery of Western Australia brought a world-class exhibition from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice exclusively to Perth. The works in the exhibition displayed Peggy Guggenheim’s strong affinity for two key movements of 20th Century modern art: Surrealism and Abstraction.
