Walking

Entry from the City is best taken via the City Station and Roe Street pedestrian overpass, or from Barrack Street via the James Street Mall or William Street.

Transport

Bus

There are bus stops along Beaufort Street. There is also a free CAT bus to the Gallery which stops on William Street (Alexander Library stop). The bus stop is accessible.

Train

The Perth train station is close by. The path from the train station to this venue is wheelchair accessible. There is a set down / pick up point off William Street suitable for cars, taxis, maxi taxis and small buses. Transperth Infoline: 13 62 13

City of Perth Parking

City of Perth Parking (CPP) provides convenient open and covered car parking facilities around the city – including three in close proximity to the Art Gallery – just look for the distinctive City of Perth Parking signs. View the City of Perth Car Parking Map.

ACROD car parking is available within the Perth Cultural Centre precinct. The bays are wide and even. People using these bays must display a current ACROD parking permit. The closest ACROD accessible parking with lift access to the Perth Cultural Centre is located at:

Sightseeing Transport

'Perth Tram Company' provides a tourist-oriented transport service, showing you around the City  and Northbridge by double decker bus. It stops close by the Art Gallery of Western Australia at Stop No. 15 on Beaufort Street (near the James Street Mall).

Private Transport

A Coach Stand for drop-off / pick-up of students is located on Beaufort Street, approximately 50 metres north of the Roe Street intersection. The City of Perth does not provide bus parking facilities within the city’s boundaries. For further information contact the City of Perth Parking Team on 1300 889 613.
